🌼 Flower Garden 7 Square 🌼
This pretty square is rated at an Intermediate Skill Level and the pattern is from The Granny Square Book by Margaret Hubert. The square contains bullion stitch, double and single crochet and chain stitches.
I used 4 weight yarn and H/5mm hook
Square size is 6 1/2 Inches
Ok, I agree, this square is gorgeous! Will I ever ever ever make another one? Nope no way no how. That bullion stitch was a major PITA and I was so frustrated with it. Why does it have to be so pretty and be such a pain??? I also ended up frogging the outside chain/single rows a couple times because I just couldn't get my stitch count right. I ended up using stitch markers to mark where the corners should be and that helped bunches.
