Cluster Cross Square
This gorgeous yellow square is rated at an Intermediate Skill Level and the pattern came from The Granny Square Book by Margaret Hubert. It contains 3 stitches; double crochet, chain stitch and cluster stitch.
I used 4 weight yarn and H/5mm hook
Square size is 5 1/2 inches
I love this look!! I made a blanket (see below) years ago using a very similiar square, but it was puff stitches and not clusters. Very similiar. The square works up quicky. The yarn I grabbed was a little fuzzy so kept snagging but that wasn't the pattern's fault :)

I found this square very easy to stitch and don't think the intermediate skill level is accurate. Even for a beginner, the pattern was precise and easy to follow. Cluster stitches aren't that hard and just takes some practice to perfect. The Cluster Stitch actually one of my favorite stitches.
I hope you'll stop in and see the square of the day or follow along on TikTok or Instagram or YouTube or Facebook
Until tomorrow ~ Happy Stitching
